What is HPL?

HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate. It’s made by stacking layers of paper soaked in resin, then pressing them under high pressure and heat to create a tough, rigid surface. HPL is more durable than CPL and better suited to demanding applications.

Why Use HPL?

HPL is perfect for:

  • Campervan kitchens and tables
  • Worktops and desks
  • Storage units and surfaces that take daily use

It’s rigid, impact-resistant, and holds up well to moisture, heat, and wear.

Key Benefits of HPL

  • ✅ Strong and rigid
  • ✅ Great for horizontal surfaces
  • ✅ Highly resistant to heat and impact
  • ✅ Available in the same decorative finishes as CPL

Typical Applications

  • Van kitchen worktops
  • Table tops and fold-out benches
  • Retail counters and displays
  • Furniture carcasses
